The first public build. Here’s everything in it.

A picture-book cat, dog or cat-dog that lives in a corner of your screen. Give it a name in the welcome tour.
It naps in several positions, washes, stretches, chases its tail, follows your pointer with its eyes, and purrs when you rest the pointer on it. Pick it up and carry it wherever you like.
Mornings start with a big stretch and a yawn, evenings end with a slow blink. At Christmas it wears a little scarf.
⌃⌥⌘H hides it from any app. Privacy mode hides it and pauses everything, and it tucks itself away while your microphone is in use.
Reduce Motion, Low Power Mode and a quieter companion setting calm it down.

Say what you’re working on, pick a length (15, 25, 50, 90 minutes or your own) and a mode: Company, Nudge or Close. ⌃⌥⌘T opens the menu from any app.
Nudge asks once, kindly, when you drift. “This Is Work” leaves you alone for the rest of the session.
Close, in testing, closes the tab or window you drifted to, only in apps you allow, and always with Undo. ⌃⌥⌘Z brings it back for up to 30 minutes.
Built-in catches for YouTube Shorts, Instagram and Facebook Reels and TikTok, plus your own sites and apps, in separate profiles such as “Deep work” and “Admin”.
Always On keeps your rules during the working hours you set, without a timer. Off by default.
The timer never counts sleep or a locked screen, and after a crash or restart it picks up where it was.
Settings → Diagnostics → Why did this happen? explains every nudge and close, and one click marks it as not a distraction.

During a session your companion sets off with its bindle and plays one of 20 little scenes on the trail: stalking a mouse, fetching a stick, fishing in a puddle.
It comes home with a find. There are 56 to collect, each tied to a place on the world map, and nothing is ever taken away.
The trail’s sky follows your hour. Optional weather brings rain, snow or fog when you have it too.
The Overview shows your focused time, a short look back at last week, and three optional weekly quests that are never counted against you.

Four sounds to work to: a real cat purring, rain in a forest, the sea and a small fire. They play from the app itself, and nothing streams.
They fade out on a call, in privacy mode and on a locked screen, and have their own volume.
Small sounds for setting off, a find and Undo, each one easy to switch off.

After a session, take a 5-minute break (or 10, or 15). Pet your companion, or catch fireflies on a dusk meadow for 30 seconds. Nothing is scored or kept.

Everything stays in one file on your Mac. Export it or delete it from Settings → Privacy & Data.
No account, no telemetry, no analytics. The only thing that goes online is the optional weather.
Never keystrokes, screenshots, page content or full web addresses.
